124. - (1) A select committee may not proceed to business unless a quorum be present; and if at any time during the sitting of a select committee a quorum shall not be present, the clerk of the committee shall bring this fact to the notice of the chairman, who shall thereupon suspend the proceedings of the committee until a quorum be present, or adjourn the committee.

(2) In determining whether the requisite number of Members is present to form the quorum the chairman shall be counted.

124. - (1) Una select committee non può procedere ai lavori in mancanza del numero legale; e se in qualunque momento durante la seduta di una select committee verrà a mancare il numero legale, il funzionario segretario della commissione porterà tale fatto a conoscenza del presidente che sospenderà da quel momento i lavori della commissione finché non vi sia il numero legale, o aggiornerà la commissione.

(2) Nel determinare se sia presente il numero di Membri necessario a costituire il numero legale il presidente sarà computato.
